1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the MonoGig website, mobile applications, provider applications, customer applications, related services, communications, waitlists and any future marketplace features offered under the MonoGig name.
MonoGig is currently preparing for launch. Certain features described in these Terms may be unavailable, limited, invite-only, in testing, or subject to additional terms when released.
By accessing MonoGig, submitting an early access form, creating an account, using the customer app, using the provider app, requesting a service, accepting a job, communicating through MonoGig, or otherwise interacting with MonoGig, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally competent to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use MonoGig only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Service providers must have the legal right, skill, permissions, registrations, documents and capacity required to offer the services they list or accept through MonoGig.
MonoGig may refuse, suspend or terminate access if we believe an account, request, provider profile, document, service listing or activity is inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful, misleading, fraudulent or inconsistent with these Terms.
3. Nature of the Platform
MonoGig is intended to help customers discover local service providers and help providers receive structured service requests. Unless expressly stated otherwise, MonoGig does not itself perform home repair, maintenance, cleaning, installation, inspection, moving, appliance, electrical, plumbing, AC repair or other third-party services.
Providers are independent persons or businesses and are not employees, agents, partners or representatives of MonoGig solely because they use MonoGig.
MonoGig may provide tools for discovery, profiles, scheduling, communication, ratings, job status, verification, payment support, dispute support and service records. These tools do not guarantee a particular result, price, provider conduct, customer conduct, service quality, job completion or availability.
4. Account Registration and Security
You may need to create an account or submit contact information to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep it updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, OTPs, devices and account access. Activities performed through your account may be treated as authorized by you unless you promptly notify MonoGig of unauthorized access.
You must not create accounts using false identity information, impersonate another person or organization, sell or transfer your account without permission, or use another person's account.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate service requirements, addresses, access instructions, preferred timings, photos, descriptions, safety information and any other details needed for a provider to evaluate the request.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that a provider can safely access the service location at the scheduled time and that any required permissions from landlords, societies, offices, residents or authorities are obtained.
Customers must treat providers respectfully, not request unlawful or unsafe work, not ask providers to bypass safety standards, and not use MonoGig to harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit or mislead providers.
6. Provider Responsibilities
Providers must give accurate information about identity, experience, service categories, skills, working areas, availability, pricing approach, documents and any business or tax details requested by MonoGig.
Providers are responsible for performing accepted services professionally, safely, lawfully and in accordance with the agreed scope, timing and price. Providers must bring appropriate tools, equipment, protective gear and qualified personnel where required.
Providers must not accept work they are not qualified or legally permitted to perform. Providers must not inflate charges unfairly, misrepresent parts or work completed, pressure customers, collect unauthorized fees, misuse customer information, or conduct off-platform activity in a way that harms trust or safety.
7. Verification, Documents and Background Signals
MonoGig may request identity documents, business documents, photographs, service proofs, address details, phone numbers, references, certifications, bank details or other information from providers or users.
Verification checks, badges, profile labels or trust signals are intended to improve marketplace confidence, but they are not a warranty that a provider, customer, document, skill, service or transaction is risk-free.
MonoGig may approve, reject, re-check, remove or change verification status at any time based on available information, operational requirements, user reports or compliance needs.
8. Service Requests, Quotes and Pricing
Service requests, prices, estimates, quotes, visit charges, inspection charges, cancellation charges, platform fees, convenience fees, taxes and final amounts may vary based on location, service category, time, job details, parts, complexity and provider assessment.
Any estimate shown before inspection may be indicative only. Final pricing should be agreed between the customer and provider before work proceeds, unless MonoGig introduces a fixed-price service flow for specific categories.
Customers and providers are responsible for reviewing scope, charges, parts, warranties, timing and completion status before confirming a job or payment.
9. Payments, Taxes and Invoices
MonoGig may support online payments, cash payments, wallet payments, payment links, third-party payment gateways, refunds or settlement flows. Payment features may be unavailable during early access or limited to selected areas or users.
Third-party payment processors may apply their own terms, fees, security checks and processing timelines. MonoGig is not responsible for failures caused by banks, payment gateways, networks or incorrect payment information.
Users and providers are responsible for applicable taxes, invoices, receipts, filings, TDS, GST or other statutory obligations arising from their use of MonoGig or performance of services, unless expressly handled by MonoGig under a specific written arrangement.
10. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
MonoGig may publish category-specific cancellation, rescheduling and refund rules. Until such rules are published in the app, cancellations, rescheduling and refunds may be handled case-by-case based on job status, provider travel, customer availability, payment status and operational constraints.
MonoGig may decline a refund where work has been completed, a provider has already incurred costs, a customer provided inaccurate details, the issue is outside the agreed scope, or the request violates these Terms.
Refund timelines, if applicable, may depend on the original payment method, bank or payment gateway.
11. User Content and Communications
Users may submit names, profile information, service descriptions, addresses, photos, messages, reviews, ratings, job notes, documents, support requests and other content through MonoGig.
You retain ownership of your content, but you grant MonoGig a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to host, use, store, reproduce, display, adapt, moderate, analyze and share that content as needed to operate, improve, market, secure and support MonoGig.
You must not upload content that is false, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, threatening, infringing, private without authorization, harmful, spammy, malicious, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate.
12. Ratings, Reviews and Marketplace Integrity
Ratings and reviews should reflect genuine experiences. You must not manipulate ratings, post fake reviews, offer incentives for misleading reviews, threaten negative reviews, or review services you did not receive or provide.
MonoGig may moderate, remove, hide, reorder or investigate reviews, ratings, profiles, listings, messages or requests to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse or maintain platform quality.
Marketplace rankings, matching, visibility and recommendations may depend on availability, location, category, user preferences, service history, ratings, reliability, response time, operational rules and other factors.
13. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use MonoGig for illegal, unsafe, fraudulent, abusive, discriminatory, exploitative, misleading or harmful activity.
You must not reverse engineer, scrape, copy, overload, interfere with, bypass security for, or attempt unauthorized access to MonoGig systems, data, accounts, APIs or infrastructure.
You must not use MonoGig to distribute malware, spam, unauthorized marketing, fake requests, fake profiles, stolen documents, counterfeit credentials, payment fraud, harassment or content that infringes the rights of others.
14. Safety, Damage and On-Site Responsibility
Customers and providers are responsible for taking reasonable safety precautions at service locations. Providers must assess whether work can be performed safely and should decline or stop work where conditions are unsafe or outside their competence.
Customers should secure valuables, supervise access where appropriate, disclose hazards and verify the provider identity shown in the app before allowing entry.
MonoGig may assist with support, documentation and dispute review, but MonoGig is not automatically liable for property damage, injury, theft, loss, poor workmanship, delays or disputes caused by users, providers or third parties.
15. Third-Party Services and Links
MonoGig may integrate with or link to third-party services such as payment gateways, analytics tools, maps, communication tools, cloud hosting, verification providers, app stores and social media platforms.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. MonoGig is not responsible for third-party content, availability, decisions, delays, errors or security practices.
16. Intellectual Property
MonoGig, its name, logos, designs, product flows, website content, app interfaces, text, graphics, software, databases, trademarks and other materials are owned by MonoGig or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, frame, mirror, publicly display or create derivative works from MonoGig materials except as permitted by law or with written permission.
17. Early Access, Beta Features and Changes
Early access, beta, waitlist and pre-launch features may be experimental, incomplete, unavailable, changed, suspended or discontinued without notice.
MonoGig may add, modify, restrict or remove features, service categories, locations, fees, policies, eligibility rules, app flows, verification methods and support channels as the product develops.
18. Suspension and Termination
MonoGig may suspend, restrict or terminate access to accounts, profiles, requests, provider listings, communications or services if we believe there is a violation of these Terms, risk to users, suspected fraud, legal requirement, operational issue or misuse.
You may stop using MonoGig at any time. Certain records may be retained after account closure where required for legal, safety, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute resolution or legitimate business purposes.
19. Disclaimers
MonoGig is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MonoGig disclaims warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, service quality, provider performance, customer conduct, pricing accuracy and marketplace outcomes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MonoGig and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, property damage, personal injury, user conduct, provider conduct or third-party acts arising from use of MonoGig.
Where liability cannot be excluded, MonoGig's liability will be limited to the amount permitted by applicable law.
21. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold MonoGig harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, costs and expenses arising from your use of MonoGig, your content, your services, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, your dispute with another user, or your infringement of third-party rights.
22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to applicable law, courts and competent forums in India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or use of MonoGig. MonoGig may first attempt to resolve disputes through support, documentation review or informal resolution.
23. Changes to These Terms
MonoGig may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of MonoGig after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
