This Privacy Policy explains how MonoGig collects, uses, stores, shares and protects information when you visit our website, join early access, use our customer app, use our provider app, communicate with us, or interact with future marketplace features.
MonoGig is currently preparing for launch. Some data practices described below may apply only when relevant features become available.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect account information such as name, phone number, email address, password or authentication details, profile photo, language preference and account role.
We may collect customer information such as service requests, addresses, saved locations, location coordinates, job descriptions, photos, preferred time slots, chat messages, ratings, reviews, support queries and payment status.
We may collect provider information such as identity details, phone number, service categories, working area, availability, experience, profile details, uploaded documents, verification status, bank or payout details, job history, ratings, reviews and communication records.
We may collect device and technical information such as IP address, browser type, app version, device identifiers, operating system, language, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, crash logs, diagnostic data and usage events.
We may collect payment-related information such as transaction identifiers, payment method type, amount, refund status and gateway response details. Full card, UPI or bank credentials are generally handled by payment processors and not stored by MonoGig unless clearly stated.
3. Location Data
MonoGig may use location information to show nearby providers, estimate service availability, match requests, calculate distance, support address selection, improve safety and prevent misuse.
Depending on app permissions and feature design, location may be approximate or precise, collected while using the app, entered manually, or derived from saved addresses. You can control device permissions through your operating system settings, but some location-based features may not work without location access.
4. Photos, Documents and Uploaded Content
Customers may upload photos or notes to explain a service request. Providers may upload identity documents, business information, work samples or profile materials for onboarding and verification.
You should upload only content you are authorized to share. Avoid uploading unnecessary personal, sensitive or confidential information unless required for the service or verification process.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to operate MonoGig, maintain accounts, provide early access updates, support customer and provider onboarding, process service requests, enable chat, show profiles, support scheduling, process payments, issue refunds and provide customer support.
We use information to verify identity, prevent fraud, protect users, investigate reports, enforce terms, resolve disputes, improve marketplace quality and comply with legal obligations.
We use information to analyze usage, debug issues, improve app performance, personalize relevant experiences, measure launch interest, develop new features and communicate important product, safety, policy or account updates.
6. Legal Bases and Consent
Where applicable, we process information based on your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, protection of users, fraud prevention, legitimate business interests, or another lawful basis recognized under applicable law.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw consent as permitted by law. Withdrawal may limit or prevent access to features that require the relevant information.

We may share relevant job information between customers and providers, such as name, phone number where needed, service details, address, schedule, chat messages, status, quote information and ratings.
We may share information with service providers that help us run MonoGig, including hosting providers, analytics tools, communication services, payment processors, verification vendors, cloud storage, customer support tools, security providers and professional advisors.
We may share information when required by law, court order, government request, legal process, safety concern, fraud investigation, enforcement of our terms, business transfer, merger, acquisition, restructuring or protection of rights and users.
8. Cookies, Analytics and Tracking
The MonoGig website and apps may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools and similar technologies to remember preferences, count visits, measure performance, understand traffic and improve the product.
You can control some cookies through browser settings. Disabling cookies or similar technologies may affect website or app functionality.
9. Communications
MonoGig may contact you by email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, push notification, in-app message or other channels for account verification, early access updates, service requests, provider onboarding, job communication, support, safety notices, policy updates and marketing where permitted.
You can opt out of non-essential marketing communications where legally required, but we may still send transactional, security, service and account-related messages.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide MonoGig, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce terms, support tax or accounting needs, improve safety and operate our business.
Retention periods may vary by data type, account status, legal requirement, transaction history, dispute status and operational need.

We use reasonable technical, organizational and administrative measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for using secure devices, protecting login credentials and promptly informing us about suspected unauthorized access.

MonoGig is not intended for children who are not legally permitted to use online services without parental or guardian involvement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner prohibited by applicable law.

You can update some account information in the app when account features are available. You can control device permissions such as location, camera, photos and notifications through your device settings.

MonoGig may use cloud, analytics, communication, payment or support providers that process information in India or other countries. Where information is transferred internationally, we take steps intended to protect it in accordance with applicable law.

MonoGig may link to app stores, payment gateways, social media pages, map services, verification providers or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of MonoGig after an update means the updated policy applies as permitted by law.
